Bowling Green’s rich heritage dates back to the early 1900’s and is currently the county seat for Caroline County. Graced with a walkable red brick downtown area, it has had an influx of new construction homes in the last few years. This is a quaint place to explore and also support local small business. Homes in the area range from smaller single family Rambler designs up to larger Colonial styles. Due to is close proximity to Fort A.P. Hill Army training facility, established in 1941, this area had grown into an established sought after bedroom community. There is plenty to do in and around area such as Mattaponi Springs Golf Club, Sassafras Shade Vineyard, and Dominion Speedway near King’s Dominion.
