Things to Do

The biggest attraction in Sperryville is the mountains.  Right next door to Shenandoah National Park, from Sperryville drive on Route 211 up the mountains to the Thornton Gap Entrance of the park.  Spend the day hiking the trails that wind through the Blue Ridge Mountains, enjoy a meal next to Big Meadows, or attend a ranger program to get a more in-depth explanation of the wildlife that live in the park.  A drive up and down Skyline Drive reveals beautiful scenery at overlooks.  Requiring a separate ticket, hiking Old Rag is always a day long adventure.
