Ready for sunshine, ocean breezes, and beaches? Cocoa Beach, Fl on the Atlantic side has plenty of homes for sale. The closer you get to the ocean, the smaller your home will be, but with a beach as your backyard, who needs a lot of space inside anyway? At almost $500,000, you can purchase an apartment or condo with two to three bedrooms within walking distance to the beach. A little further back or near the Banana River, you can invest in a ranch home with slightly more inside living space and a yard.
If city life is more your speed, then check out these homes for sale in New York City. It will come as no surprise that $500,000 dollars isn’t going to buy you much square footage in the metropolitan area. A move-in ready apartment with 600 square feet, either studio or one bedroom, seems to be the most popular set up on the market. Don’t expect to find more than one bathroom. If you are more ambitious, then there are some fixer up homes available.
