The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer. As we look forward to the return of summer, one of the first things that pops into my mind is ice cream. The Cool Zone has been a staple of the Locust Grove community for over a decade. Located near the Locust Grove Post Office on Route Three, Cool Zone Ice Cream is serving up an assortment of delicious Hersey’s ice creams. From Cappuccino Crunch to Salted Caramel Truffle and classics like Cookies and Cream, there are many options here. Each week, Cool Zone also has a new flavor of ice cream in Locust Grove for residents to try. You can turn any of the ice cream flavors into milkshakes, add some toppings for a sundae, or go all out and order a banana split with several different flavors.
All this writing has got me thinking about getting some ice cream in Locust Grove tonight. Now I have to decide what flavor I want!
