New Restaurants Near Harrison Crossing
A few months ago, we got the news that Chipotle is coming to 5621 Plank Lane. This location is known as a Chipotlane; a relatively (2018) new addition to the restaurant chain, Chipotlanes are stores that offer a drive through pick up lane for digit orders. For days when you don’t have time to sit in the restaurant, the drive through is an option if you place your order ahead of time. Don’t worry though; this new store near Harrison Crossing still offers indoor seating.
Next door to Chipotlane is another restaurant! McAlister’s is a deli that serves a variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads. Known for their giant iced teas, the 5621 Plank Road location has signage up outside and should be opening soon. This McAlister’s is one of only fourteen in Virginia, so this may be a restaurant no one in your family has visited. Many years ago, we were in Texas and stopped in a McAlister’s for lunch and it was great. Since then, we’ve been on the lookout for one while we travel. It’s exciting to know there will be one closer to home!
