Wilderness library, a branch of the Orange County Public Library, is a fantastic resource for all residents in Locust Grove!  Located near the intersection of Route 20 and Flat Run Road, near Locust Grove Middle School, Wilderness library is open Monday through Saturday.

In addition to a large selection of non-fiction and fiction books for adults, teens, and children, Wilderness library also has local newspapers, DVDs, hotspots, video games, and access to thousands of e-books. Their app makes it easy to keep track of what books you already have checked out, when materials are due, and give you a simple and easy way to search for materials not only in the Wilderness branch but also the entire Orange County Library. You can link the accounts of every family member and see what events are taking place too.

Wilderness library in Locust Grove hosts a toddler story time every week.  They have weekly take and make crafts for children, events for adults, and a summer reading program. The Wilderness Friends of the library supports the library through book sales and donations to help support the programs that happen at the library in Locust Grove.
