As you clean out your Locust Grove home for a move or during a remodel, chances are that you will accumulate a pile of items to give away. New and gently used items that you can’t pass onto family or friends can be donated to local organizations.
Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity: Larger items that need a new home, like a refrigerator or furniture, can be donated to the Greater Fredericksburg’s ReStore. Lake of the Woods Lions Club: This organization holds weekly yard sales within Lake of the Woods. They will accept items such as gently used furniture, work out gear, housewares, and more. Goodwill Donation Center: Located at Locust Grove Town Center (at the intersection of Route 20 and Zoar Road, the Locust Grove Donation Center is a place where you can donate items.
