Summer is in full swing and one of the most popular spots during this time of the year in Lake of the Woods are the swimming pools. For residents of Lake of the Woods, the swimming pools are one of the many amenities that homeowners and their guests can enjoy. If you enjoy boating, but don’t like swimming in the lake, the pools are just for you!
Lake of the Woods has two pools. The first pool is located at the clubhouse. It features a zero depth entry which is ideal for small children and is handicapped accessible. The pool also has lanes for swimming laps and a splashpad area for little ones. There are showers and bathrooms at Lake of the Wood’s Clubhouse swimming pool as well as a snack bar. The snack bar only accepts electronic payments. The clubhouse area also has a playground, basketball court, and picnic tables. The clubhouse pool is open from eleven a.m. to seven p.m.
The second pool at Lake of the Woods is located at Sweetbriar Park. Near the community center, this pool has a separate pool for smaller children with a slide and other water activities. The main pool features a diving board and slide. It has a declining entry and ladders to access the pool. Like the clubhouse pool, this pool in Lake of the Woods has a bathroom and showers. The Sweetbriar Park pool is open from one to eight p.m. It is also used for the Barracudas-Lake of the Wood’s swim team.
