Cooler fall weather is just around the corner here in Locust Grove, VA. Whether you are a long time resident or are about to move to Locust Grove, now is a great time to get out and explore some of the beautiful parks and playgrounds! With picnic tables, walking trails, and play equipment these spots are a perfect place to spend the afternoon.

Lake of the Woods:  An awesome community for families with young children, Lake of the Woods in Locust Grove offers five playgrounds. Since it’s a gated community, access to the playground is limited to homeowners and their guests.

Lenn Park:  Located just off Route 3 in Stevensburg, Lenn Park is a great place for younger children to climb and explore.  With multiple sports fields, picnic tables, dog park, and more Lenn Park is a fun place to explore.

Rockwater Park:  Found in Culpeper, VA, Rockwater Park has a seasonal splash pad, walking trail, disc golf course, and playground.

Booster Park:  Located off of 20 just south of Unionville, Booster Park has a playground, baseball and soccer fields, and a pavilion.  Orange county holds several events like the 4th of July celebration at the park.

The Bright Spot Inclusive Playground: Part of the Culpeper Sports Complex near Eastern View High School, the Bright Spot is an exciting play for little ones to play. With a pirate ship, swings, and slides, there are surrounding sports fields, trails, and more.
