Lake of the Woods is a gated community in northern Orange County.  Located off of Route 3, one of the interesting aspects of Lake of the Woods is the style of the homes.  Unlike other planned communities, the homes in Lake of the Woods were built from its founding days as a vacation spot to the modern homes of today.  This means that the homes in Lake of the Woods come in a variety of styles.  As you drive along Lakeview Parkway or one of the many cul-de-sacs in the community, you will find a ranch home next to a contemporary home that is across the street from an A-frame.

The homes surround the two lakes, golf course, and other amenities that the community offers such as a clubhouse, tennis courts, community center, and parks.  Most of the lots in Lake of the Woods are wooded.  Take a look at the different types of homes you can find in Lake of the Woods.
