While the grass is no longer green, make sure to have cleaned up the flower beds of leaves and pick up any other yard debris. Add some twinkling lights or candles in the windows to create an inviting atmosphere from outside.
  • Decorate but with restraint. A home decorated for the holidays is warm and inviting. Just make sure not to go overboard and hide the features of your home that you want buyers to notice. For example, don’t hide the gorgeous picture window in your living room with the Christmas tree. Maybe put the tree in the corner where buyers can appreciate it and the window.
