The next time you are in a store looking for something to add into your living room or searching for decorating inspiration on Pinterest, some of these emerging trends may appear in front of your eyes.  Like last year, homeowners and designers seem to be gravitating towards warm colors, nature inspired pieces, and curves.  When it comes time for you to redo a space in your Locust Grove house, maybe one of these trends will make its way inside your four walls.

Lions, tigers, and leaves…oh my!

These neutral animal print pillows are listed on Amazon.

Subtle or bold, animal prints are returning to home design.  Whether it is a rug, throw pillow, or lamp, incorporating some animal print into a space is a popular trend in 2025.  Some patterns learn towards a more subtle interpretation of a zebra print or leopard spots through the use of neutral colors.  Nods to animals are also appearing on artwork for walls, lamp bases, and in small decorative pieces.

Not only for those of us that live in a tropical locale, leaf prints are making an appearance in furniture pieces, wall decor, and light fixtures.  The pieces themselves learn more neutral which makes them easier to incorporate into many areas of your Locust Grove house.

Textured Materials

Purchasing slip covers (these are on Amazon) for your pillows is a cost-effective way to add more texture into a room.

You know that blanket that you walk past in a store that yells “I’m so soft” thus forcing you to appreciate its warm and comforting fabric?  This is also becoming a trend in decorating.  Whether it is a high low carpet under your feet or a plush fleece throw pillow, incorporating different textures into a room is a decorating trend in 2025.  Likewise, hammered metals and chiseled wood pieces that add more texture to an otherwise flat surface are also trending.

Warm and Neutral Shades

Just like many of the 2025 paint colors of the year, colors for furniture and decor pieces are trending neutral.  Rich chocolate shades, warm taupe, and greens are being used by designers.  These shades also work nicely with the warm jeweled tone colors that homeowners are incorporating into their spaces through rugs and couches.

Curved Furniture

Like in years past, curvy furniture is popular; chairs with rounded arms, couches with curved edges, and circle coffee tables all contribute to the trend.  Curved furniture like this was last embraced in the eighties, but this new take uses warm, neutral colors as a template. Is there a place in your Locust Grove house for a curved piece? If I am being honest, then this is one trend that I will leave for the professionals.
